LEKKIE BLING RING 40T HD PACKAGE
The Lekkie Bling Ring 40T is now the smallest tooth count ring available on the market that maintains the correct offset and chain line.
Lekkie made this possible by also designing the motor drive covers to work together with the 40T ring to create the most compact offset drive ring.
The Bling Ring 40T V4 also launches MULTISPACE. The MULTISPACER allows you to set 3 different offsets.
To get the current BlingRing offset key the MULTISPACER into the back of the sprocket. However if you require 2.5mm extra offset just remove it. If you need to space the ring 2.5mm out to clear your frame then simply flip the spacer the other way. This gives 5mm adjustment with one spacer!
The 40T ring also sports a external chain guide ring to give another level of chain retention and protect your pants from engaging the chain.
To be able to run a 40T you must run the Lekkie DRIVECOVER.
The 40T package includes the 40T Ring, MULTISPACER and DRIVECOVER.

After upgrading my frame, i was no longer able to use the lekkie 42T i owned due to it hitting the chain stay. I opted for a Luna 36T as it was a quicker lead time and i needed my commuter functional. The Luna chain ring would flex under load and just wasn’t the same build quality as the lekkie i owned. The chain line was also horrible and i was forced to use a chain guard. I ended up taking the plunge and buying the 40T kit.
Installation was pretty easy, especially since i’ve serviced my BBSHD before for various repairs/greasing.
Build quality is even better than the original 42T i had previously from lekkie, i love the chain guard on the outside as i often would get my pant leg ripped up. There is no flex at all unlike the luna 36T had.

I had a bad chain line with my existing Bafang 40T and thought the Lekkie 40T combo would fix it. Turned out that I needed to add the included spacer to avoid hitting the chain stay. Looking closer at the various clearances, I noticed that I could have gotten away with just the chain ring and spacer.
Was considering not using the BBSHD cover but it does look pretty sharp and it adds a grease port so it’s not a waste of money. My chain line is now perfect and everything fits up nicely. As a machinist I can say the workmanship is top notch.

I didn’t want chain line issues and all the research pointed to the Lekkie chain ring and cover.
Product was shipped promptly and installed without issue

Good bye chain dropping! Fixed all my issues with chain drop, I also converted my bike to 11 speed at the same time(from 8) I think the smaller chain also helps with how grippy the chain is now but never had a problem since the install! Super happy with the purchase, only complaint would be took awhile to ship

I know there’s hundreds of applications for the BBSHD., but this package should be a part of every 1x donor bike build. The 42T with the kit was horrible (even with a good chainline). This package made it right! Wish I had known when I ordered the kit. That said, Golden came to the rescue with ready availability and prompt delivery.

The 40T Lekkie HD package is top of the line. I have been an engineer in manufacturing for 30+ years and the design, functionality, & quality is excellent. The less expensive option to solve an offset issue is the Lekkie 42T bling-ring but the offset is slightly smaller and you gain two more teeth up front. I needed maximum offset to get the best alignment between my chain-ring and cassette and this was the best solution for my Specialized 29’er Rockhopper.

First of all, Bafang 40T HD Bling Ring solved all of the issues I was having with chain drop, gear tooth skipping, noise and shifting.
A well made and awesome product.
I had bought and installed other devices just to keep the chain on the drivetrain.
I removed them, no longer needed!
Thank You
