Bafang 3000 Watt TorqueX Controller Hold On
I purchased the TorqueX controller for my 2024 Trek Duel 3 Generation 5 bicycle. It has 27.5 x 1.95 wheels. I have a stock Bafang BBSHD motor with a 600c display. The bike is set up as a single speed with a 46T Lekkie Bling Ring in the front, and a 18T Surly cog in the rear. I run a KMC X10 chain.
The installation was fairly easy. You have to remove some caulking around one of the plugs, but besides that, the wires are all color coated. I have a Jumbo Shark 52v 25ah battery. Now let’s talk about the performance. I have my motor set up for five pedal assist levels. The TorqueX controller really comes alive for me in pedal assist level 3. The torque and acceleration is like night and day to the stock Bafang controller. The bike feels like it has a turbocharger and accelerates like a rocket. My top speed on the flats is 35 mph. The torque allows me to climb hills much easier. Pedal assist 4 and 5 really moves the bike to top speed. This controller is about low end torque and acceleration. It does exactly what the advertisement reads on the website. I recommend this controller and I hope it lasts for years.

Excellent Battery!
Bought the GM battery to replace a 52v 13ah Unit Power Pack battery 30amp continuous. The UPP battery performed OK, but the GM battery really bumped up the power. I was surprised at the difference. Barely made a dent in voltage after 13miles of hard riding.
