Fits like a glove, gonna put one on my fatbike because I will put the new pro when it arrives on my bike where the gen 2 is on so i needed a new bracket and a new spline. Thank you very much again for thinking with me 😉 appriciate it very much. Not to mention the lightning fast delivery🙏🙏🙏
The only downside to the Proton Gen 2 is the concern that I may never use my acoustic bike to the extent I have in past years. My Photon Gen 2-powered road ebike conversion is much more fun to ride. The pedal assist feels natural, allowing me to enjoy group rides again, especially now that I have the power to back away from erratic riders. You don’t need aerodynamics when you have a motor. In the end, I finish with additional miles, and less discomfort. I’m probably not getting as great a workout, but if I continue to enjoy adding miles I may get the exercise I need. I mated the motor with a 52 volt battery, mostly because it will also fit my other ebike. I suspect 72 volts would give the motor more torque. The 52-volt battery works very well. I’m happy with how well the battery works with the motor.
