Lekkie BB 86/92 Bafang Adapter

Convert a press-fit BB86 or BB92 bike with a Bafang motor

Lots of great modern frames use BB86 or BB92 press-fit bottom brackets, and a standard Bafang mid-drive won't fit them. This Lekkie adapter set changes that. It lets a 68mm Bafang motor mount in a BB86/BB92 frame (41mm inner diameter) without modifying or taking apart the motor, so bikes you couldn't convert before become candidates.

It's CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum with a hardened steel axle extension, finished in black with a red plate.

Check your frame before you order

• Shell size: must be a 41mm inner diameter BB, 86 or 92mm wide.
• Shell outer diameter: ideally under 47mm. 48mm will work, but the motor will sit about 2mm farther out.
• Carbon frames: many have thick carbon around the BB, which can stop the motor from fitting.
• ISG chain-guide mounts: these can interfere with the motor and may need modifying.
