Product Description

One nut instead of two, and no special Bafang tool needed

Bafang mid-drives normally hold the motor with two stock lock nuts, and the inner one needs an odd tool most people don't own. On bikes with a 73mm bottom bracket shell, the stock cover won't even fit. The Lekkie Onenut fixes both problems: one CNC-machined aluminum nut replaces both stock nuts, and it tightens with an ordinary 16-notch Shimano-style bottom bracket tool.

Once it's torqued, two small grub screws lock the nut to the bottom bracket threads so it can't vibrate loose or back off. That's the most common cause of a motor that starts shifting or clunking.

Why it's worth adding to your build

  • Stops a loose motor: the built-in grub-screw lock keeps it tight on rough trails.
  • Uses common tools: any 16-notch BB tool works, or use the Lekkie Sixteen-44 socket to torque it to spec with a torque wrench.
  • Solves 73mm BB shells: a clean fit where the stock nut-and-cover setup struggles.
  • Looks the part: anodized red or black to match your Bling Ring and drive cover.
