Product Description
The BAC-0501 is Golden Motor's 2000W programmable BLDC controller: one unit for 24V, 36V, 48V or 60V systems, with 50A continuous, 100A peak, regen braking and cruise control. It's built for drift trikes, e-bikes, scooters, go-karts and light EV builds running a 3-phase brushless motor.
Why Builders Choose the BAC-0501
- Multi-voltage. The same controller works on 24V, 36V, 48V and 60V (max) batteries.
- Real power. 50A continuous and 100A peak, for up to 2000W rated output.
- PC programmable. Set your motor control parameters to match your motor and battery.
- Keeps running. If a motor hall sensor fails, it switches to sensorless control automatically.
- True regen braking. Recovers energy when you squeeze the hand brake.
Features
- Cruise speed control
- Forward and reverse control
- Regenerative braking (active only when the hand brake is squeezed)
- Hall sensor failure redundancy (automatic switch to sensorless control)
- Keeps working with a failed throttle or power breaker
- Anti-theft alarm and wheel locking by vibration detection
- Motor phase self-detection and calibration
- Reports failed components by beep codes
- Over-current and low-voltage protection

Matching Motors
The BAC-0501 pairs with the 1500W BLDC-108 motor for a 48V, 1.5kW drivetrain. It can also run the BLT series trike motors (500W, 650W and 800W) with the current limit set to suit the motor. For builds above 2kW, step up to an EZkontrol 48V controller.
Installation Notes
- Use a battery and BMS rated for at least 50A continuous, and fuse the battery line for the controller's 100A peak.
- Mount it somewhere ventilated, away from water spray and heat sources.
