The base is a french branded moped Peugeot 103 that i have bought just for the conversion. The idea was to built a 50cc équivalent electric moped, so i've mounted a 3kw motor instead of the thermal motor because French laws says that a 50 cc have a max nominal power of 4 kw. (Now i think that a 1.5kw should have been enough) I've done a first version with the battery on le luguage rack (72v 25Ah). And then i've bought a second 103 frame and modified it to recieve the battery. It does 50km/h max, and have a blazing acceleration. i've also instal a 72/12v dc dc converter to to make the electrical part work. Now it just need a painting work for the frame. Now i would like to maybe create a garage where people deposit their old motorcycle (50cc to 125cc for the beginning) and i propose a electrical conversion. But i've do not now how to proceed, there is no such thing allowed in France... Approvals are nightmares. Another idea is to maybe recover production machines of the 103, which was a very cheap moped made in France, and selling new electric 103 with that simple and robust conception. Peugeot does not sell 103 anymore since 2017, anyway since 2000 the production was made in Marocco and then in China...
