NATURAL, SMOOTH RIDING

Equipped with our patent pending torque sensor module, we can give you a refined pedal assist system. The torque sensor module includes both a high sensitivity torque sensor strain gauge module and a cadence sensing module. The high number of poles of the cadence sensor ensures that we can control the sensitivity to a much higher degree & provides the opportunity to fine-tune the firmware alongside rider inputs. The result? Unprecedented ebiking!

TESTED BY PROFESSIONALS

Not only have we written our firmware alongside our team riders, we've made sure that that all our MVPs got a chance to test it! This includes our partners at Ristretto Electric, Coast Cycles, Fasterbikes EU to name a few. We also showcased the beta version at the 2022 EUROBIKE show where the feedback was phenomenal!

Great product, great company, fast shipping

I purchased a cyc photon kit for my salsa bucksaw, my overall experience was excellent.
I had been shopping the last couple weeks for a kit and tried to go through a local store (electrify bike co) but was having trouble figuring out what to purchase and when it might arrive. Frustrated, I decided to searched elsewhere and found golden motors. They helped me over the phone with some of my technical questions, 4 - 5 days later my kit showed up. Everything installed perfectly and the kit works as expected. Overall buying experience was great.

The conversion kit works great as expected. The packaging was very professional.
The bike frame Garneau 3 I choose for the Photon is not suitable, short sighted on my part. I was not able to rotate the motor up to give me the ground clearance needed for trail riding.
I used up all the big spacers on the drive side and a piece of ABS pipe for spacer on the non drive side.
The speed sensor is fully extended to meet the magnet at 6mm, that structurally worries me a
bit. As a trail rider, I prefer color code for power mode on the display for quick glances and bigger battery bar. Not interested in the speed indicator. Had trouble reading small font on the fly.
Love the CYC Photon, can't wait to put the system on a better choice of fat bike frame and eliminate current issues.
Thanks again,
Ron Turgeon

Easy Install, customizable power output

The hardest part of this install was getting the old crank out of the bike, It took me a bit of time to adjust the power output to what I wanted, as I just wanted a bit of help on the hills. For the most part I ride with the power level set at level "0" when I encounter a hill that is too steep for my bad knees I down shift into a lower gear and put the assist level at "2", I have the bike configured for a total of "9" levels. Motor is quite capable of getting me quickly up to 45k/hr with no pedaling at the highest assist level in unrestricted race mode, but that is not what I wanted!
