I’m so glad I chose to go with this battery for my cyc x1 pro gen4 build… it gets great range and power. I get right at 48-50 miles (mixed street/race modes) on pure throttle only, so with pedal assist range only goes up from there… I reach 50mph no problem and I’m 6’0 250lbs, and to me the triangle/in frame style battery is the best way to go because doesn’t make the bike to top heavy and it still handles GREAT…. With the cyc x1 pro gen4 and this battery my bike (specialized fuse6 fattie) is SUPER light for a 5kw ebike that can eat ANY hill and hit 50mph .. I don’t think there’s a better or more bang for your buck way to get basically an e-moto that will keep up with stock surrons no problem.. and I have literally half what a stock surron costs in my entire set up… I really couldn’t be happier with how my bike turned out. Its a Great choice imo and golden motor was great during the whole process!

I have a new cyc x1 pro gen 4 installed. I was told I can use my golden motor 52 volt 17.5 ah battery I'm using on my stealth.

First ride the motor kept cutting out while peddling then suddenly kicking back in.

What are the settings I should be using? Should I knock down the max on everything to 2000 watts?

Is this battery ok for this motor?

Shout out to Riz, who helped me get a discount on my battery after I had purchased it. (It went on sale 10 days after I purchased it.) I'm not the easiest guy to get along with, but he was always friendly an professional. I appreciate all of his help. I haven't got many km on it yet, but it seems to work great.

Expensive, but worth it. Powers my CYC X-1 pro to over 80 kph and over 70 km with 25% charge left.
Golden Motor staff was very helpful in the purchasing process.
