I tried getting parts from the store I purchased the CYC from, but they took 3 days to even respond when their website wouldn't let me select the correct parts, and of course you can't call them. Ordered from golden and had my stuff the next day before the other store even responded
A must have if you have a CYC mid drive. Why destroy the chain ring retainer trying to get it off with flimsy tools when you can purchase this fairly cheap?
It seems like cyc has some real machine tolerance issues. I had to hand hone the bore on this sprocket to get it to install without damaging my output shaft. I'm okay with doing that, but a lot of customers are complaining about broken sprockets and this is probably why.
I've been able to tune my gearing by changing the primary chain size to bigger instead of changing the bicycle chain rear sprocket to something bigger. I keep the small bicycle chain front sprocket. Makes my gear cluster works so much better
I thought you were a Canadian only company. But to my surprise in desperation I ordered a part I couldn't find anywhere else. Surprise surprise! It shipped out of Michigan and was to my house exceptionally fast.
