Product Description
The Magic Pie 5 1000W hub motor kit is Golden Motor's all-in-one e-bike conversion wheel. The controller is built inside the motor, so there's no separate controller box to mount. The fifth-generation Magic Pie adds a Vector sinewave controller for quiet, smooth acceleration, a waterproof plug-and-play wiring harness, regenerative braking and Bluetooth programming. Available as a front or rear wheel in 16" to 700c sizes.
For off-road use only. At 1000W, this kit exceeds the 750W limit most US states set for e-bikes, so it is intended for off-road trails and private land. For a street-legal build, see the Magic Pie Edge (500-750W).
Designed and supported by Golden Motor, with a 1-year warranty handled directly by our team.

FAQ
Front or rear?
Rear gives better traction and handling. Front is simpler to install and lets you keep your existing gears. Front wheels must use a torque arm.
Hub motor or mid-drive?
Hub motors are simpler to install and put no extra wear on your chain. See our honest comparison.
