Mount a Bafang motor securely in a 73mm bottom bracket

Bafang motors are built around a 68mm bottom bracket. Put one in a 73mm-wide shell and you're left with a gap between the motor and the clamping plate, which stops the motor from clamping up tight. This 5mm Lekkie spacer fills that gap so the motor mounts solidly and won't shift.

The spacer sits between the clamping plate and the motor's mounting lugs. It's machined from forged 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized red.

Install note

Because the spacer adds 5mm, you'll need longer M6 screws to get full thread engagement into the motor. The exact length depends on your install, so measure before you buy hardware. Pair it with a Lekkie Onenut, which also solves the lock-nut problems common on 73mm shells.
