Product Description
The Magic Pie Edge hub motor kit is the street-friendly member of the Magic Pie family. It has the same all-in-one design, with the Vector sinewave controller built inside the motor, and comes in two versions: 500W and 750W. Each version uses its own motor, and both stay inside the 750W limit most US states use for e-bikes. Available front or rear (freewheel or cassette) in 12" to 700c wheel sizes.
Approximate top speed: 20 to 28 mph (32 to 45 km/h). The 500W version reaches about 20-25 mph and the 750W version up to about 28 mph, depending on battery voltage. Speeds are approximate on flat ground with a 26" wheel and depend on wheel size, rider weight and terrain. You can set a lower limit with the USB cable or Bluetooth app.
Designed and supported by Golden Motor, with a 1-year warranty handled directly by our team.

FAQ
500W or 750W?
500W suits flat to rolling commutes and gives the longest range. 750W adds climbing power and top speed, and matches the most common US e-bike limit. See What Wattage Motor Do I Need?
Freewheel or cassette?
Check your current rear wheel. Threaded cogs mean freewheel. Cogs that slide onto a splined body mean cassette.
Is it street legal?
Both versions are within the 750W limit most US states use for e-bikes. See our e-bike law guide.
