Product Description

The Fifth generation of Magic Pie with Vector Sinewave controller, updated wire harness, and bluetooth capability. The proven power and durability of the Magic Pie motor now improved with an all new Sinewave controller and updated wire harness and controls.

Sinewave controllers are state of the art controller technology for quiet and smooth powerful acceleration and ride. The wire harness is military grade with plug and play plugs. The Bluetooth Device allows you to connect directly to the motor. Along with using a Smart Display and USB cable, you can use also your Android or iOS device to program the motor and mount it to your bike and use it to read current, speed, power, distance, etc.

Torque Arm: Front wheels must use Torque arms. If you don't have any at least order one, two is better. Rear torque arms are optional but still recommended for safety.

Pedlec (Pedal Assist): Pedal assist, also referred to as pedelec, is a mode that provides power only when you are pedaling. If you are used to riding a traditional bike, the pedal assist mode has a more intuitive feel compared to the throttle mode.

Battery Options:

This kit comes with everything you need to convert your bicycle minus battery and charger which you can add now or later.
Any of our 24, 36, 48, or 52 volt batteries will work with this kit.
52 volts will get you more power and higher top speed.
48 volt battery will get you a little less power and top speed but will be more reliable.

Once you have picked the voltage then you just need to pick the size. The higher the AH the farther the battery will take you. A 10ah battery will give you 25 miles on average. A 20ah battery should get you 50 miles. More ah means bigger in size, more weight and harder to mount. Click Here for all the battery options

I have had this EXCELLENT product for over two years!!! This is Phil Heidt and I wrote the review on March 27, 2022. It got posted twice, sorry.
I have OVER 8,000 KM on this powerful motor.
I go back and forth to my daughters and it is 25KM away and it takes me an hour. Two big hills along the way that I climb UP at 30KM. This motor rocks.
I scoot around the city at 35KM to 40 with ease.
My bike is very fast and I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

New 26 inch bike build. 26 inch front wheel Magic Pie 5 1000 watts fits 100mm between forks but after removing the original wheel with quick release skewer I noticed the forks have a concave profile, flat on inside but not flat on outside. Required a filed and fitted "C" washer each side to make outside mounting surface flush. Put the tabbed torque washer on inside of fork. Bike frame is aluminum but forks hold a magnet -steel. Good to know. Added two DIY torque arms made of 10mm open end wrenches with 12mm washers JB welded to both sides; upper wrench shaft is vertical and braced against and secured to front of fork tube with plumbers strap, bolt, nylon lock nut and various sized washers to tighten strap to wrench and to fork tube and brace torque arms firmly. The angle between back slanted fork tube and vertical wrench shaft allows for adjustment and best fit of bracing assembly. Used this same DIY on older 20 inch Trike front wheel MP5 1000 watt and works great over the past five years daily ride, winter and summer.
Only issue on this new build is the V brake system. The MP5 wheel sits offset to one side once properly mounted due to the design of the MP5 motor and wheel architecture. Far side caliper shoe will not contact rim. Dealing with that issue is next on the build list.
