Magic Pie/Black Pie 5 Internal Controller

A Replacement controller (2nd) for one that failed after 3300 km's - likely user fault due to power spike with intermittent power contact. Original that came with motor-wheel was DOA, and had to be RMA'd.

Requires a connection to be soldered in place. Easily enough done with a soldering iron. Easy installation into motor wheel. Only just installed controller yesterday and powered up to confirm operational, two weeks after purchase. Yet to reinstall motor-wheel.

10 yrs ago I purchased the 10000w kit.....and I love it. Golden Moters products are excellent, built strong. I would purchased one anytime.👍🚴‍♀️🇨🇦

I have a pedicab and I used Magic Pie 5 for almost 5 years without problems. We know that on this earth nothing is forever so few weeks ago my motor started to have problems. Very slow but most of all ...no power at all...not even on a small klimb with empty pedicab. Well in Netherlands there isn't any more a dealer of Golden Motor and the only one official in Europe seems to be in Lituania. This last had not available any internal controller at that time so I decided to buy directly to Goldn Motor Canada even if shipping is expensive and bla bla. To be honest the purchase was very smootly and the UPS Express service was exceptional at cost of 90usd. Anyway in 2 working days I got my controller . I replaced the controller but the new one doesn't work even though current was ok and connection also. In the severals attempts unfortunately I broken a piece on the controller so I put again the old one . I know that I can't claim nothing because I broken it but this is juest to let you know my experience about. Regards
