Bafang BBSHD 1000W Mid-Drive E-Bike Conversion Kit (CAN Bus, 48-52V, 68-120mm)

The Bafang BBSHD 1000W mid-drive conversion kit (CAN Bus) pairs Bafang's toughest mid-drive motor with its newer CAN Bus system. You get 1000W rated power (1600W peak) and 160 Nm of max torque for off-road fat bikes, trail builds and steep terrain, plus faster, more stable communication between the motor, display and sensors.

For off-road use only. At 1000W, this kit exceeds the 750W limit most US states set for e-bikes, so it is intended for off-road trails and private land. For a street-legal build, see the BBS02B CAN Bus (up to 750W).

CAN Bus vs UART: Which Should You Choose?

• CAN Bus is Bafang's current system, with faster communication and better diagnostics.
• UART is the original protocol with the biggest range of aftermarket displays and DIY tools. See the BBSHD UART kit.

Important: CAN Bus and UART parts are not interchangeable. Displays, throttles and sensors must match your motor's protocol.

Can I use a UART display with this kit?
No. A CAN Bus motor needs a CAN Bus display.

Will it fit a fat bike?
Yes. Choose the 74-100mm or 101-120mm option to match your bottom bracket shell.
