Surron Moto Brake Dual Caliper Bracket FAQ
Will this dual caliper bracket fit my bike?
It fits the Surron Light Bee, Eride Pro SS 2.0, SS 3.0, S, and SR, and the Talaria X3, MX3, and MX4. It does not fit the Talaria MX5. The bracket mounts to the factory rear swingarm, so no frame modification is needed.
What else do I need to run it?
The bracket is the mount only. You also need a Surron Ultra Bee rear caliper and the 240mm Moto Brake Rotor it is built around, plus a foot brake or hand brake to operate it. Run a caliper on each side to use both at once.
Does it come with a caliper or brake fluid?
No. The bracket ships with the bracket, a brake disc guard, and all mounting hardware. The caliper is sold separately, and there is no hydraulic system on the bracket itself, so there is nothing to bleed.
What does running dual calipers actually do?
It lets you run a foot brake and a hand brake at the same time, each with its own caliper on the same rear rotor. That gives you independent foot and hand control of the rear brake. It adds a second control, not extra clamping force to one brake.
Can I start with one brake and add the second later?
Yes. The bracket carries mounts for both calipers, so you can run a single caliper now and add the second later without changing the bracket. Most riders set it up to run both.
How hard is the install? Do I need to cut or fabricate?
It is a bolt-on install with all hardware included, no cutting and no fabrication. The bracket goes on at the factory rear points as part of your foot brake or hand brake install. Follow the matching install guide for the step-by-step.
