The smallest BBSHD Bling Ring, for maximum climbing torque

The 28T is the lowest-geared Bling Ring Lekkie makes for the BBSHD. Going this small lets the motor spin faster and work less when the going gets steep. It's a great match for loaded cargo bikes, steep hill climbs, hunting and trail bikes, and any build where low-speed pulling power matters more than top speed.

It's CNC machined from heat-treated 7075 T6 aluminum, so it weighs a fraction of the heavy steel stock ring while keeping hard, durable teeth. The narrow-wide tooth profile grips the chain to stop drops on rough ground.

Is the 28T right for your bike?

• Great for: internal-gear hubs, single-speed setups, cargo and utility bikes, and steep off-road riding.
• Keep in mind: small rings have less offset (5.2mm), so the chain line sits farther out than with a 42T. On a wide-range derailleur cassette you may get better shifting with a 42T Bling Ring.
• Top speed: expect a lower top speed than stock. That's the trade-off for the extra torque.
