Big-ring gearing for speed on the BBSHD
If you mostly ride roads or bike paths and find yourself spinning out at speed, the 52T Bling Ring gives the BBSHD a taller gear for a higher cruising speed and more relaxed pedaling when you're moving fast. It's the go-to size for road commuters and long flat rides.
Like every Bling Ring, it's machined from heat-treated 7075 T6 aluminum with narrow-wide teeth to keep the chain on. It's still much lighter than the steel stock ring, even at 52 teeth.
Is the 52T right for your bike?
- Great for: road and path commuting, flat terrain, riders who want higher speed in the top gears.
- Keep in mind: a bigger ring means harder starts and more motor load on steep hills. If you ride hills or trails, look at the 42T Bling Ring instead.
- Chain line: 16.3mm offset keeps the chain line close to the frame for clean shifting.
