- This Black Pie 5 Wheel Only with Controller is a variant of the MP5 model, featuring a sleek and uniform black coloring as well as a larger diameter and thinner design for use with 6-7 speed freewheels and disk brakes. When powered by 24 volts, it can reach speeds of around 20kph, while 36 volts will bring it to about 32 kph and 48 volts to about 45 kph. The tire compatibility ranges from 1 inch to 2.25 inches for regular rims and 1.95 inches to 2.5 inches for casted rims. To control the speed and power of this motor at 48 volts, you will need to either program the controller with a Golden Motor USB cable or use a Cycle Analyst. Please keep in mind that without these adjustments, the motor is intended for off-road use only at 48 volts. For more information, please refer to our legal information.
